I am a first-time boat owner and clueless about where to begin.

I live on a lake that only allows electric motors so the motor that I have is a Minn Kota 48V E-drive, four 12V batteries connected in series, with two 2-bank battery chargers.

Can someone verify if this wiring diagram is correct?

Also what guage wire do I need for all of the connections?Pontoon.jpg

Welcome
Not sure you need a main breaker for house loads, you have a breaker/fuse panel which will protect them. Does not hurt anything if it's there

Wiring looks good. The E-drive manual has a breaker between Bats 2 and 3

Main breaker should be 40amp. Size of wires is determined by how long the wire is. Measure wire going from Bats to motor and back for total length (non-critical).
