Does anyone have an accurate wiring diagram for a 1955 Johnson 25hp Electric Start? It was a 6 volt system. The manuals I have don't show anything for a 6 volt system. I'm not sure how the mercury switch wires into the start system, which is just a push button. On later motors it connected to a side terminal on the cut-out switch, but I don't think that will work with this motor, as the cut-out switch is grounded directly to the engine block.
