I have twin 25s without electric start one 25803c the other J25rcnb i would like to hook up tachometers to. Not sure what wires to use. Can anybody help me? Thank you for your time.
That's going to be a tough one, I think. Tachometers normally connect to the alternator at the rectifier leads. But with rope starting you don't have an alternator, do you? Unless I am uninformed (very likely) I don't know of a tachometer that will work on your rope start motors except the Tiny Tach.
