Winterizing a 3.7 170HP

Hi all,

as cooler weather draws near i will need to know what and how to winterize my boat i'm sure it already posted on this sight can someone point me in the right direction i would be greatful.

EASY! Make sure the antifreeze is about 50/50, buy a inexpensive tester to check it. Pull the aft plug on the heat exchanger (I do it right on the ramp when I pull the boat, let it drain right out of the boat drain plug, it is only seawater), and make sure the power steering cooler (should be above the exchanger before the seawater exit in the exhaust elbow, if you have one, if it drains you should not even have to check it in the future) drains. and you are done with freeze protection. Follow Don's suggestion for the rest of the stuff, oil, outdrive etc. You DO NOT repeat DO NOT drain the block.
