Just purchased an early 70's winner gtx 165 with a 65hp mercury thunderbolt ignition outboard.
1) My mercontrol throttle will not move into neutral (it gets stuck 3/4 of the way up on the choke button side), is it the throttle cable? (boat has been sitting for 5 years, just got the motor running off manual crank today)
2) Is anyone familiar with these boats at all? I am really having trouble finding info about this specific model
