We have a '96 Bayliner Capri. It has the square windshields. I think that the curved ones have a more modern and sportier look. Is it possible to replace the square ones with the curved ones? If so, does anyone out there have any experience doing it? I think it would really improve the look of the boat. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Windshield '96 Bayliner Capri 1950

Hi,

Just registered. Restired my 1988 with all the great infor here. Can't wait to share 'Cabin Fever", like new again.

Anyway, about your windshield. I woulkd suspect it is not toatlly flat glass and not 90 deg corners. But whatever you might need, try Ocean Dynamics in Floriday. My entire windows were crushed two years ago, and they did a great job replacing them. Slightly curved glass and not a right angle to be found. They are also fun to work with.

Re: Windshield '96 Bayliner Capri 1950

I strongly, strongly warn against going to Ocean Dynamics in Miami. I made the mistake of going to them to repair a damaged compound curved windshield on my 99 Chris Craft. The windshield they sent to me was incorrectly fabricated and would not fit back on the boat. They agreed to repair so I made a second mistake of sending it back to them. Now they want me to pay more for the work and refuse to return my windshield. I wish I had checked out their BBB rating (an F) before I called them.
