I just bought an 87 Searay Seville, needing some TLC.

The window in the cuddle cabin doesn't open like I think it's supposed to.

When you unlock the levers the whole window pops out. It looks like there may have been a hing there in the past to let the window slide up on the pistons being supports, but there isn't a hinge there.

Does anyone know how I can fix this or where to get the hinge?

I also bought some silicone because I wanted to seal around the glass a little better when it's shut. Is silicone the right stuff to do this with?

Thanks everyone!

Is it glass or plastic? Sounds to me like it may have been broken at one point and a previous owner removed the hinge and the frame and replaced it with what you have. It is very difficult to find window parts. I have been looking myself. Maybe someone that knows your specific model can help. If you can get Searay to tell you who makes their windows, you may be able to contact them direct for answers.
