winch problems

On my new to me Imperial, I have a problem with the winch on the trailer. The handle is stripped out. Does anyone know if you can just get a new handle for it, or do I have to spring for a whole new winch just to cannibalize the handle. The rest of the winch is in good shape, and I dont want to have to remove the whole thing (welded on)

If it were me, I would just weld the handle on, but I have a welder. you could take it to a local welder and it would probably only cost a couple buck to get it welded on.

handles strip due to the fastening nuts not being kept tight. work that out before you purchase handle. You may need to replace the handle shaft also due to being wore down from handle spinning around it.
