Why are people so annoying?

I went to the movies yesterday and to my right there was someone who had sandals on and kept lifting his heel on the soda-sticky floor making a loud cracking sound...<br /><br />To my left there was an older woman who kept on mumbling to her self; commenting about the movie as it went.<br /><br />In front of me were two people who got up every 15 minutes to get popcorn, soda, pee, whatever. <br /><br />THESE WERE ADULTS!! What is so fricking difficult for people to sit down, shut up, and WATCH A MOVIE for 2 FRICKING hours! I just don't understand it; why do people have to be so rude to every other person in the theater? Sometimes I just want to scream at these people - "What is wrong with you?! ---- SHUT UP"

Last time my wife and I went to a movie, we were there about 2 minutes when a woman and about a 12 year old girl sat down behind us. Imeadiatly the girl was tapping the seat to my right with her shoe. I waited about 30 seconds and stood up, faced them and asked, "Are you going to do that through the whole movie, because if you are, Im going to stand up in front of you untill you move. She quit!!!!!<br /><br />How do we expect kids to be adults when adults are not adults anymore?

People do what people do so now I wait for the video to come out and watch it at home. The seats are better too

Still a couple drive ins around here, one about 20 miles the other about 70 both still play first run flicks. <br /><br />EE, thats is reason number one why I don't go to the movies anymore. Last new movie I saw in a theatre, other than weekday matinees, was "The Blair Witch Project" on its second day of initial, limited, release and the other patrons were incredibly disrespectful. Since that time I haven't stepped into a theatre after 5pm.

Havent been to a movie in years, I aint going either. I cant take the blaring music and the volumn of the movie. I have bad enough hearing without subjecting myself to all that carp, And god forbid one be fool enough to go on the weekend when the mouthy teanagers are there. Ill just wait till it comes out on dvd and buy it.<br /> I morn the loss of the drive-ins with the little tinny sounding speaker you hung in the window.

Granbury has a drive in. I really miss them also.<br /><br />I try to catch matinees, if and when I go. Legend of Narnia was the last movie I attended.

The last drive-in movie I seen was when the John Wayne movie, Sons of Katie Elder first come out.<br />I think in '65.

I would rather rent them when they come out for that very reason, EE. That and I can pause the movie whenever I need to pee or what not. Oh, and most importantly, I can watch moives at home while Im in my underwear.

EE, what were you thinking?!? Get yourself a DVD player. Fwiw, Warner Bros has a goal of $10 per new DVD. They want to release straight to DVD , skipping the theater altogether.<br /><br />Pass on Netflix unless you just want the convenience of movie delivery but at a higher price. If you watch a bunch of movies a similar program is available at Hollywood video and they allow you unlimited videos for your monthly fee. Netflix does not.

Our last one was turned into a mall parking lot about 20 years ago. They could've left the big screen up but for some reason they chose to take it down.

we counted one month, 26 movies yea it cost 19.95 and your rite 1brabbit we like the delivery part of.<br />as far as rude people at the theater- it cost toooo much for all that, thats why we stay home.<br /><br /> What ever floats your boat
