I could tell you, but you probably wouldn't remember.
You have a timing light, loosen the distributor hold down and turn the distributor while watching the timing mark with the timing light. See which way the line moves.

if i had a timing light i could do that, i borrowed my neighbors and set it to spec but i want to retard it just a little as i get a pinging at high rpms , counter or clockwise
