Well, the reason is quite logical. The Kiwifruit was originally imported into NZ from China...it's also known as the "Chinese Gooseberry"....but our marketing folk didn't think that "Chinese Gooseberry" sounded enough like a New Zealand product... so they named it after our favourite little bird - the "Kiwi" ! <br /><br />Kiwifruit is big business in NZ. Not many people seem to know our little secret - that it was originally an import from China

After careful reflection, I feel I am in the middle, and voted such. There is a lot about the republican concept that I agree with, as well as the democrat concept. It is difficult to get past the whinning and raving both parties tend to do, but once you get past that, it is easier to decide how you lean if you just look at the meat of it instead of the BS.

Right wing is conservative. Left wing is liberal.<br /><br />I hate to define it any more that that. I wanted a poll that the voter decides which way they lean, which may not necessarily mean the same thing to all people.<br /><br />Ken

Good polls. The one on here and the one linked to above.<br />Yes, us "right wing nut jobs" are the majority here.<br /><br />My only regret, I "only" scored a 35 on that other poll. Making me like Bob Dole, but not exactly like Ronald Reagan! If only I had said "no" to porn and "yes" to Pat Robertson, I'd have a 37!

I thought that the answers I was giving, in ButchA's poll, would place me hanging off the end of the far right limb. I, of course, was viewing the subjects through the lens of the Left wing. However, when the tally was made I got a 35 (Bob Dole), which doesn't even put me on par with my favorite President.<br /><br />I think that poll just verifies that what is being branded, today, as 'radical right wing' is simply due to the fact that the Left has moved further Left, away from what has always been considered middle ground.

I tend to lean to the right because my PC’s mouse is on that side. I do so much I even find myself leaning that way in my van......Oh .. you mean politically. I voted for George.
