Crazy question but which side of the Biaxal fabric goes up? Im starting the stringer glassing in two weeks and im just going over the project before i start. Thanks

Ayuh,... It really don't matter....
Smoothside up might make finishing easier...

If its actually biax then you must be using epoxy, so like B-O said, it makes no difference.


If what you have is something like 1808 and you're using polyester, then you need to put the mat side down.

Thanks. Yup im using Epoxy and 1708.

Put the mat side down. It may not be necessary for a good bond since you are using epoxy, but it will be easier to work with.
