hello all. newbie here.
Just picked up a different boat and its been sitting along time. Its an 89 bayliner capri 19'. It has the force 125 outboard but mounted like an inboard. (L-drive). I know, I hear now that its junk but i'm stuck with it. I got it started the other day. runs like a top. but since its been sitting for a number of years i know there are things that i should check. my question is: what oil do i use in the lower unit and where is the fill and drain plugs? i havent looked real close yet. Also i should probably change the water pump impeller or the whole pump. any other suggestions as to what all i should inspect before launching the boat?
