i live in baytown,tx. and i own a 1977 starcraft v-hull alluminum boat w/85hp johnson; also 1977. my trailer is an old shoreland'r. are there any places in the baytown area where i can find parts for it, i.e. rollers, etc.?
Overton's, Harbor Freight Tools and Bass Pro Shop sell boat parts. There also are many sources online for virtually anything you need. Even though the trailer may be old, trailer parts are mostly generic and there's always something that can work for you.
What kind of parts are you looking for? We have lots of places around Houston for trailer parts, just depends on what you need. Academy has the rollers and some other stuff.
I have a jet ski trailer I'm trying to repair, but have yet to go to a trailer place. I need to find the brackets that hole the boards up on their side. Academy did not have those.
You should look down one and ask in the trailer section. That said, you can buy them here in the I boats store.
