Re: Where to begin?
I just purchased a 1976 Terry Pro 55, I got it to canniblize some of the parts from the trailer but now I'm thinking I could maybe fix her up. I cant seem to find much info on these boats and have no idea what year or hp the motor is, but the label on the inside says evinrude. As you can see from the photos the wood under the carpet is shot. Where would you begin this project to get her on the water? Any help would be appreciated.

That's a pretty cute boat. And, it'll only look better when you're done.
I can't say for the other people but I make a list, three actually:
Safety/Seaworthiness
Life jackets, CG mandated items, engine, transom, bilge pumps, lights....
Comfort/Convenience
Porta potty, seat cushions, hatch supports....
Cosmetics
replacing a faded but serviceable bimini, seat cushions, buffing, shining bright work....
In this order.
For me, the lines can blur a bit. A rusted cleat is Cosmetics but a rusted cleat that's also loose is Safety/Seaworthiness and Cosmetics.
Your mileage may vary.
