Where does throttle body muffler go?

Where does the little square muffler go? Ordered it and matched part number from merc but I do not have one to replace. The diagram points to a oval hole for a square piece. I tried uploading a picture but can't. There is two oval slots and one looks like a piston slides through.

It's where the IAC pulls it's air from, so will be in close proximity to that valve

Wholly crap Alldodge, after reading your Rinker post I think that black "piston" is really the muffler. I was looking for a center post or pin to put it on since the square muffler has a center drilled out to set on a post. If that is what im seeing this there a metal pin or post the foam "muffler" goes on?

No, it just pushes into the cavity... Not sure what the hole in the centre is all about... :noidea:

It's just foam, no problem even if it did.
