Where does this go?

I have a 2006 Chaparral 216 Sunesta with a Volvo 5.0 GLE. I pulled the engine exactly how the volvo manual tells you to. I have installed my new engine and am not sure where this piece goes. I was thinking it goes on an electrical connector to possibly lock them together, but I cannot find any match. Any help would be appreciated.

Check your trim sender wiring. I think that may be the connector that locks the plug together.

Ok contest is now over with. Sparky is the winner! Thank you for your time. It is a clip that locks the trim sensor connector together. I thought the rubber connector were tight enough. I guess it's extra insurance.
