My main reason for listening to Morning Edition and All Things Considered is the depth of coverage they give each story. It's not just a 30 second blip but often a 5 to 7 minute piece.<br /> <br />The other reason I listen to NPR - during each news show they run at least one off-the-wall, humorous story that is not earth shaking, hard core news but normally causes laughter and a smile!

Local News- 1) Scanner<br /> 2) WBRV/WLLG The Moose<br /> 3) Mom, who heard it from a friend of.. <br /><br /> World News- the big cable channels

CNN, MSNBC, CBS, Drudge Report, Wired, AP, BBC, ABC.....pretty much anywhere credible except Fox.
