Where do I clearance the gimbal ring?

I found I need to set it at .005-.01 but don't know where to place my feeler gauge at. Do I clearance at the lower ears where the pivot pin is?

Here you go and I would recommend always tel folks what your working on, otherwise we have to go look thru your threads. Most of us old guys suffer from CRS and others may not want to go look

Have a buddy which built his RXT and it now goes so fast the speed-o gets lost. Figure it's above 70 mph. I like my doo, it's pert-near bullet proof, non-supercharged, max speed 50 something, cruises nice at 35 to 40 all day long

The MOST important part of doing this IS using that hammer! You'll be amazed how much the mechanism moves when you strike it.
