I am looking to replace quite a few parts on my 97 3.0lx and alpha 1 gen 2 overdrive. My guy ay napa says it would be best if I can find original part numbers when looking them up and ordering. Can anyone tell me where I can find them? I am replacing a lot of normal maintainance stuff (plug wires, fuel filter, hoses, gimbal, etc). Thanks

The NAPA guy can tell you what the part number is using the serial #, if he doesn't know the part number find another NAPA store! They probably don't have the right book, and will gladly take your money if you do the work of looking up part numbers.

Ask them to order the NAPA marine parts book, they don't charge NAPA stores but may or may not charge you.

Thanks for the help and replies. After looking at the site Don S posted, I believe I'm just going to order from there. It is a good deal cheaper than the 1 or 2 parts the guy at NAPA could find...

Thanks again.

1fishbone - where you live in NC? I'm on the VA side on Lake Gaston.

The good news there is that you will be getting OEM parts, not the cheap aftermarket parts
