Re: where are you from?

Look at bottom of post but for reference about 20 min from hook up to pulling away from the landing from the famed Santee Cooper lakes about 4 hours from some realy good offshore fishing or trout fishing in the mountians and perhaps comming soon to fish holding water near you.

Arlington is right smack in the middle between Dallas and Fort Worth, home of the original Six Flags over Texas, the Texas Rangers, and soon-to-be-home of the [in]famous Dallas Cowboys(maybe).

I'm 41, born and raised in Garland, TX. Live a bit north of there, now, toward Wylie, and spend every spare minute of my time at Lake Fork (see map above) just south of Yantis, trying to land the elusive catfish of my dreams.

Mmmmmm......Catfish.....

Re: where are you from?

I live in a little mountain town called Squaw Valley which is east of Fresno about 50 miles in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. We're about 30 minutes from the nation's Christmas Tree in Sequoia National Forest and Kings Canyon National Forest: http://www.sequoia-kingscanyon.com/
Its pure heaven and it's where someone will scatter my ashes when its my time to go to the happy fishing ground.
EDIT: Many people confuse the name of my town with the ski resort many people know in Tahoe. Nope, we're the original and that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :D

Kennedale, Tx. Little town bordered on the north by Arlington. Pop. just at 5000 or a little over. Lived in this same area for 46 years. Decent place to live if you can put up with the city leaders.
