New Regal B/R first time back on a new trailer. Low water and the trailer was too low. Bow slid under the winch butterfly roller. Roller yoke guffed the bow.
Spectrum Gel Coat Patch Kit from iBoats. ...perfect match.
Mask and Dremel the edges of the guffs to 90 deg.
Spread the activated gel paste.
Sand: 250 - 3000 grit. Ending with Meguiar's Unigrit 3000 grade.
Walk away like it never happened.

just glancing at the pics the tape blended in and I thought "holey carp" then I looked at the pics.

looks good

BTW, dock rash means you use the boat.

Thanks Manitowoc ;). The gel gave itself up easily with 250 grit wet/dry. I knocked of the ridges and rough shaped the wounds. Then kept going until the tape edges surfaced, and removed the tape. Then it was a slow, two beer process sneaking up on the final contour.
