Parker County is known for superb peaches.

Whitt, TX (pop. 35) claims to be the cutting horse capital of the world. There are 10 major cutting horse breeder/trainer ranches within a few miles.

You tell me, please. What is Scandinavia & Norway known for?

We would tend to think that our stereotypes would include some things like: Liberal blondes keeping up the viking traditions of fornicating in the streets. Polar bears, fjords, high taxes, expensive beer, midnight sun, reindeer, skiing, trolls, backward dolts, bland food....

  :D

Seeing that I am in the metropolitan St. Louis guess you could say that it is the gateway to the west at least that is what they call it at the arch.

Also contrary to what the above cheese heads say we have been known to play little football and baseball as well as making the best beer in America. :D ( rams Cardinals)

Fishing and hunting. Jimmy Carter keeps coming to this area to fish. And Stan Belinda came from here and has a farm just up the road - posted, no hunting, so he and his major league buddies have a place to archery hunt.

Oh, oh yeah, we're known for a particularly ugly murder in the '80s by an escapee from the State Prison in Chino. We're still trying to figure out how to fry him, we got within 4 hours a few months back . . . Need a lesson from you Texans for that.
