1988, fuel mix is 50:1, 87 octane gas to TCW3 outboard oil, plug is Champion QL77JC4 gapped at .030.

There is a sticker on the side of the motor thatt says 100:1. Are you sure it is 50:1 ratio?

Yes. 50:1 is correct.<br /><br />OMC tried the 100:1 mix for a few years, but changed it back to 50:1 when internal corrosion problems showed up on stored engines.<br /><br />Good luck.
