I have a 55hp chrysler motor and I need to know what year it is

model # 555bc
serial# 2033

any help would be appreciated thanx!

thanx for the info. now for my next question is a 55horse Chrysler outboard and a 50 horse Johnson are the parts interchangeable both being 1971. Or is this chrysler motor i picked up for parts useless to me?

I doubt any of the parts will be interchangable. Kinda like a 1967 mustang and a dodge charger.
