What year Gale / Jonnyrude?

I just bought this on e-bay but the seller wont give me model # serial 3 info yet - can anyone tell what year it is so I can order some parts before the motor get here - see link to e-bay.

no way of knowing with out model #, i would not have bought it if he would not give model #.

looks like a 1962 or around there abouts, I've had other gale 5 hp motors and while some parts were interchangeable with the evinrude/johnson, the head parts on the gales weren't. You should be able to buy a replacement fuel pump from omc or ebay, mine had the square one on it. the same looking one on the 1968 evinrude 5 hp motor, the part number for the fuel pump on the 1968 5 hp motor is 0382875.
