Hello everyone, I have a 2003 Reinell 200 LSE. I'm looking for a tower for my boat to pull my daughters behind the boat. There pretty rare to find on craigslist, right now, there is only one on there, it is a Airboom. If anyone has pictures with a tower on there boat, please send so I can see how it looks. Thanks.

If your talking about towing a tube or other inflatable, then you don't need or want a tower. Tubes and towables other than skis or wakeboards are towed with a tow hook, or the transom strap mounts with a three point harness to attatch the towline. If your talking about wakeboarding or skiing, then a tower will allow more aerial height when jumping wake with skis and wakeboards. It also prevents "rope drag " in the water. iboats has a "Bouy ball" tow line which cuts down rope drag and provides shock absorption. Google the manufacturers. Most have photos of installations of various towers on various boats. Some have videos. iboats has a few nice ones. Good luck and have fun.

my family never used anything other than a tow harness (there were no other options in the 70's). they work well enough. unless your looking for that air while wake boarding. i would think the tow harness would be satisfactory.. they sure are cheap compared to a tower, that's for sure. plus towers can mean storage issues for being to tall. probably cover issues too...
good luck with what ya decide.
