hi all, i have a 15 ft trusty with a 10 hp evinrude outboard i am going to use it on lake windermere , if i were to do a bit of mackrell fishing in the sea once more experienced what horse power engine would be suitable thanks
Pretty craft, mick. Looks like she could be rated for as much as 30-40HP. Look for the USCG rating on a plate or sticker and plan on 70% to 100% (not more) of that rating.
Lacking a max power rating I think I would power her in the 25-30HP range for sea excursions.
