Re: What method of sanding before new paint?
I used marine surfacing putty to fill the spidercracks. I also bought some two part epoxy primer to coat all the puttied areas, and anywhere else it appeared to need it. After you brush on the primer, and it sets, you can wetsand it smooth. It will give a good finish.
