What Lube to Pull (or Push) Fuel Fill Line through ABS Pipe?

I had to use 3 inch ABS pipe for routing my fuel fill line to the belly tank. I had to make a couple of corner turns with elbows. I need to route the main fuel hose, vent hose, and ground wire through the pipe. The marine grade hose is pretty rigid so I need a lube to pull the hoses through. What is the best lube for that so it won't attack the hose?

You could use a electrician lube that they use for pulling wires through pipe, or just get a spray can of Quicksilver power tune.

Ayuh,...... With Power Tune, you could push a 1/2" rubber pipe, through a 1/4" hole,.......
Amazin' stuff,.....

Thanks all. I tried some of the electrical wire pull liquid yesterday but it didn't work all that good. I don't have a source close by for the Power Tune. Tried Dawn dishwashing soap full strength and managed to get the fuel fill line to go through but still with a lot of effort. Once in, there is just not enough room to run the vent tube and ground wire in the 3 inch drain pipe I used for the fuel fill. So, I put in a 2 inch drain pipe to run the vent tube and ground wire. I didn't want to run electrical wires in the same pipe as fuel or the vent line so I also ran a third 2 inch drain pipe for the 1/2 inch water line from the fresh water tank (on the port side) to the galley (starboard side), pump wires, a 12 volt circuit to the port side, 12 volt lighting circuit for the port side cabin lights, and sending unit wires from the gas tank. Getting to be a plumbing project.

Try blowing a string through with compressed air. If you get that through you can tie/tape it to the hose and pull it through. Or if you can get a fish tape, use that.

Or get some very thin string. Tie the corner of a plastic bag about the size of the inner diameter of the conduit to the end of the string. It will act like a parachute. Now suck it through with a shop vac. You'll be surprised how quick and well this works.

If that string is too weak to pull with, use it to pull in either an electrician's fish tape or a strong wire or string.

When you attach to the fuel line keep the nose as tapered or streamlined as possible.

Have someone pull while you push from the other end.

Definately lube it well with electrical pulling compound. If it's the yellow stuff it has a wax base that is very slippery.
Spread plenty of the pulling compound on the nose and keep smearing it all over it as it's going in.
At the very least, you can use dishwashing soap.

Thanks all. I got the main fuel fill hose through with dish soap. The others are easy in comparison.
