Is there any way of telling what kind of paint is on a boat shy of scraping some off and sending to a lab? Aluminum boat with bottom paint. Typically bottom paint has copper which on an aluminum boat is obvious not good. The paint is also not in too bad of shape so if it is not going to cause harm, it will remain painted as is. Otherwise I'm going to blast the entire boat.
