what kind of boat is this? unreadable mfg plate

It looks like one of the typical "bass boats" from the early 1970's when lots of small boat makers tried to get into the business. If it was built after late 1972 it should have a Hull Identification Number on the transom that will show the builder and year. Many companies copied other makers hulls so without that number and the fact it has been partially stripped down it may be hard to find the maker. Is there any paperwork with those registration numbers?

the plate is not readable, no paper work. I did find out the last person to register it but cannot locate him. the address isn't pulling up much. it said the house is vacate. still looking. but your right about other people copying.. It looks some what like an old ranger boat, I thought maybe a mon ark ,but bow is round. who knows

Its a yard planter until you get proper paperwork.

Also, it looks about 50 years old

depending on your state, it may be easy or hard to get paperwork if you can register it as what you think it might be... The question becomes, with a boat that old, in that condition, is it worth trying?

Just found out it is a 1972 Tidecraft or at least that is what tag receipt said.
