Can anyone tell me about this boat and what it might be worth. I got it for 50 bucks. I figure it's worth that in scrap.

Sorry, can't help ya with who made it, maybe look around for a hull ID tag or capacity plate?

Was it worth the 50 bux? Yup.

But, I can't quite tell in the photo, but is the port side gunwale all bent up there? If it is, that's trouble:blue:

If you blow the pix up @300% and rotate it clockwise, the port gunwale looks like it's got a notched out section back near the port stern endcap, doesn't it?

The hull side below the bent/notched gunwale & above the port chine does not appear to be anything other then a smooth curve, so it doesn't appear damaged.

Odd....

3/4 full of water be careful trying to move it around w/ all that water in it. Looks like it's a stout built boat, but maybe not stout enough to tip & poor out the water.

I guess the standing water indicates the hull doesn't leak water (or at least not from inside out).

The triple row of rivets at the bow, smooth bow cover, 3 bench seats, the knee brace & the gunwale endcaps may help you ID her. But it's pre-60's I suspect, and info/pix may be hard to find.

Post up some more pix if ya can, and try & post them right side up. Makes it easier to view......

Look at the transom gunwale endcaps, bow endcap or bow handle, they may have markings too

It looks like an iron clad. Cool. I'd clean it up if it were me.
