I guess there is a benefit of no Mosquitos or Horseflies at sub zero temps. Oh well at least we have DEET for summer

Thankfully we only got about 3" of a very heavy wet snow here overnight. Unfortunately, a 30,000 lb shipment we're waiting for is coming in from Waupaca, WI where they got 20" with another 4-8" expected. Trucker just called to say they should be plowed out enough to get it to our warehouse in the morning.

Freaking 83 degrees here this afternoon. Absolutely sucks. Cold front coming through tonight but will only drop down to 57 followed by a high of 62 tomorrow. Then it warms up again into the 70s and 80s for the 10 day forecast. Ugh! :mad-new:

Oh yeah... there's also pollen everywhere. Covers everything with a cloud of yellow dust.

We were suppose to get a snowstorm this afternoon but so far that's been a big nothing burger.50 miles south the Mackinaw bridge had zero visibility this afternoon.

Today was rain to freezing rain to snow to freezing rain, back to snow and now snow with 25 mph winds. Just another normal day in SW Michigan.

Here in Hudson FL It's been a wet winter(should be dry season)much like it was in 2009 every 3 day cold front brings some wind but the temps have been pleasant mid - upper 70's pushing 80 but the gulf is in the mid 60's so here along the coast it stays a little cooler

60 degrees in FLA for me that would be swimming weather right about now! Got another 6 to 8 inches of very heavy snow last night .I fried my elect system on the atv this morning so im back to the toro powermax till I figure that disaster out.Our city snow removal crew does a great job and id put them up against any in north America but we still get winers and bitchers on the local news website .I broke down in the back laneway this morning so I was trying to figure out what I was going to do to get the atv around to my house so I could put it in the garage.A guy way down a few blocks away was plowing his business lot and he came down the lane way with his 140hp 4x4 john deere tractor and bucket and blower and towed me around and up the street to my house. Then pushed me into the garage all because he said he was being a good neighbor .Offered him cash but no go .Great long distance neighbor .

Most of us here don't go the water till it's at lest getting close to 80's. There's a reason I don't go above I 10 from Nov.- April
I might freeze to death plus I'm not sure I could still drive in snow

Yeh they sure get dumped on big time there .

Never enough, the Admiral and I like it. We gotta wait to get out on the boat, might as well have fun with water in another state (not State, but sometimes we do that too). Part of the fun was pushing slush off the driveway yesterday, and shoveling light powder off it last night (me, not the Admiral). As I drive through the powder on the streets, she loves it when we go through the fresh stuff on the sides. Weather is what it is, we like to make the most of it.

Actually that's a misnomer. Syracuse, Parish, Watertown - basically central and northern NY - all measure snowfall in feet. Buffalo (and burbs) measure in inches. My cousin just outside of Watertown plows his driveway with a Bobcat....snowblower won't cut it.

But its been wild swings in temps. One day in the -20's (windchill) next day in the upper 40's. Not doing anything for getting rid of colds. It's actually funny....one day I had (3) different alerts - Flooding, followed by Winter Storm and then Windchill.
