I don't know if I wanted people knowing I ate at Arby's. :)

Heck..... I'll pull my 22" rims in Mc.D's, Taco Smell, King Burger, Wanda's, Drounding Donuts, on and on..anytime.

Nothing below me..I'll eat Vienna Sausages if the fish are biting!

I had a hard time going from steel rims on my old Firebird to alloy. Then dang...they threw in tires that were radial.

"baggy pants bother me more than big rims"

The only problem I had with putting fat tires on my Firebird was they stuck out too far so I had to flare the quarters. I also like the radials better than the bias I tried them both and the radials hooked up better but I don't mind the low profile look if it isn't too low.fbrd.jpg

Well...it gets worst lol...http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1594874

I'm a big fan of Tige boats, and looking at used ones most of them have those style wheels on the trailer. WTF? If I ever get one, I'll replace the wheels with something normal and sell those babies, probably come out on top with it too!

The other day, I was behind an "ethnically engineered" 1982 Old's Cutlass which had to have 22's or 24's bolted on.

That thing had a GOOD 12" of ground clearance. Something many "Jeepers" would kill for.

The car was obviously unstable. It darted in/out of it's lane with no driver input.

The "lo-pro's" were an inch thick if that. I can't imagine riding in that thing. From what I saw, the driver was being beat to death. I guess "cool" has it's price.

Come on, sasto, don't you have enough problems of your own? Why do you want someone elses, too?

Be careful what you wish for, Buddy;).

Tell me you're kidding:p.

Re: What is with low profile tires?

try driving thru Arkansas with low profile tires. That state has the most god awful interstates. The right lane is so torn up, and has so many pot holes. Even driving an 18 wheeler thru there bounces you all over the place. That state should bend some rims on low profile tires.

Seriously, Arkansas is barley passable, you almost need to drive around the state instead of thru it.

That's because all you big rig drivers have torn them up.;) I'm afraid I have to concur, especially with regard to I-30 between Benton and Texas. Holy schnikeys! Real kidneybuster, and that's the way to some of our bestest lakes. Every time I tow our boat through there I have horrible visions of what it's doing to my trailer.

Re: What is with low profile tires?

you would think the state would have some kind of money to fix it. I know arkansas is nothing but farmers, but still, they should get some kind of federal money for interstates.
I would have to say AR has the worst infastructure of any state i have driven thru. The whole state looks like a ghost town, that has not been touched in 30 years.
