Definitely a MPI model engine that was connected to a stern drive. Probably in the 430 HP range. Looks like the model of engine that was in the Donzi I had.

Is there a aluminum type tag just above the engine starter?
Clean the casing of the EFI's "ECM" as there should be some stickers on it that should tell a bit more about the engine designation model it would have been/fit which looks to be an Alpha stern drive and possibly engine year which that model should have started in either late 2002 /early 03.

Agreed - 300 hp and looks like it is for an alpha not a bravo as there is no belt driven seawater pump

fine motor but why was moved from boat or maybe removed from truck in lieu of putting into boat. Run compression and oil checks to be sure. Keep in mind if your boat is carbureted, it is more laborious installing an EFI
