Both my fishing partner that day and myself got major bites at the same time. Both reeling in, excited as all get out, wondering who was going to man the net for these woppers, etc. He reeled up a big ol clam shell with a few more smaller ones attached. Myself...I reeled up a set of spark plug wires with a stick attached

I pulled up an anchor the other day. Works good too. Glad I had 30 lb. test.

I caught a fully opened umbrella last year. I thought I was pulling up the floor of the ocean.

just last year at table rock.... thought I had a HUGE FISH... <br /><br />turned out, it was about a 15' length of steel cable. It felt just like a fish, would pull it up, then it would colaps, feeling like it was fighting me... fought that piece of metal for a good 10 minutes.

a fishing pole, complete with some bait still on it. <br /><br />also caught 2 green spiny blowfish...they were somewhat difficult to take off the hook<br /><br />my dad got a large snapping turtle on his line once in kansas and it was so mad, it was flipping every which way on top of the water, he cut the line as we didn't want it anywhere near the boat!

28 lb anchor, still had the barcode on it. I use it on my pontoon and gonfishn can voutch for the catch, we were on his boat. I have also landed a couple Seagulls...they give quite a fight and were less than happy about the whole expierence.

After many years of catching the boots , seaweed and many other useless objects I caught a 3lb bass wierd actually catching a fish!

my old anchor that i lost 3 or 4 years earlier. it was pretty wierd. also caught a seagull once your right a heck of a fight!

Same as JB but a large black swan - it commenced it's take off run and it was like being attached to a B-52! Swan on the fly is very scary!

Caught a sea gull when I was kid. People where throwing french fries near the dock, and they where grabbing them in the air.Guess a worm looks like a french fry.Did'nt hurt the gull much, but damn them things stink.On the fish end I've snagged 2 gar-pike in the last 20 years, they are nasty looking fish up close.<br /><br /> Jim

Man I didn't want to say anything about my seagull that I caught. Thought it was some kind highly illegal thing to do. Feels wierd reeling something out of the air huh?
