sears sells a really nice seal puller for about 20 dollars.
you just have to be very careful not to allow it to scrape the seal bore.
I use the seal puller from suzuki. works great and wont tear up the bore.
however I do this for a living and cant stand shoddy tooling

the suzuki puller is avalible from any suzuki dealer, I got mine when I worked at a dealer.
its adjustable and uses two legs, one pulls and the other is a pivot.
works very well
