We ran an '87 Sea Pro 18 cc made in the Carolinas with a 90 Merc. They started building them in FL around the mid 90's with both Merc and Evinrude Ralph Evinrude slept here..........
Sea Pro was purchased by Brunswick in 2005 and they discontinued the Sea Pro line in 2008. My 1996 came with a 150 Merc, but they used other engines prior to 2005, Brunswick also owns Mercury OB engines so they were the preferred engine in new sales between 2005-2008.
