Bleh, boring job at Hilton Hotels Corporate offices. I fix computers all day. Come up with code fixes and what not for our property management system.

My fiance does nothing but ***** about my boat because she can't afford toys. She has life so bad, free place to sleep, free expedition to drive, free food, bought her a tanning bed, free lawn service...... and damn me for needing to replace a busted hydraulic ram....

Does anyone else have a significant other that just because they don't have all the stuff you have they complain about it? I'm about ready to move back to LA with all my stuff and just leave her with the house, lol.

I do oddjobs. Carpentry. Welder fabricator. Sheet metal tech. Acad draftsman and steel detailer, project manager. Occasional Truck driver for old mans business. Electronic specialist.

Currently 15 years as a manuf./process engineer for a medical device company that manufactures drug coated stents to open clogged or collapsed arteries. Since the lib lawyers have scared everyone about the product knowing most of the public is ignorant about heart disease and drug coated stents, Sales dropped and I awaiting my turn in the next lay off.

Im ready for something else. I do oddjobs, and all of them well! :)

Hey this feels like an interview!...:0

Re: What does everyone do for a living?

I have a few careers behind me.
I started as an airborne naval commando, from there I worked as a high mountain range desert tour guide(Sinai Desert).Went into business as a cattle ranger until I was called back into the service as a military "adviser",I guess you know what that means.
Right now I work for Big Brother, but in a far more peaceful setting, mostly doing foreign news and policy analysis. It is so peaceful that I have managed to grow a small paunch!
I really have always wanted to be a veterinarian.

I used to own my own business doing epoxy and fiberglass/carbon fiber molds and repairs on pools fire places or if someone needed a mold of something.
I sold the business and got back into doing electrical ( data alarms fire cameras stereos whole house networking etc) cause I got burned up on epoxy. fiber work

I'm a Bush Administration critic. But since there are so many of us, I don't get anything for it. Supply and Demand, you know. ;)

To pay the bills, I work on boats. And since I work on boats in Wisconsin where the season is truncated by hard water, I help keep bill collectors employed too. :D
