I am good at changing my life over and over again.Let's see,maybe I will finally get good at settling down.<br />Plywoody,It almost sounds like our daughters know each other.Or is it that,like me,you are over educated and under appreciated?

Used to be pretty good at doing squats best was five forty for two reps but now that I lost weight best I can do is three fifteen.

Rolmops, definitely under appreciated. Not sure about over-educated part.<br /><br />She came up with that when on one of our numerous long car trips, I would, solely for her entertainment of course, regale her with little historical facts and little known peculiarities of the various places we would pass by. Pretty much non-stop.<br /><br />This last Thanksgiving, I finally got to meet her newest boyfriend (a nice enough guy, but my guess is he is not long for her world) and at one point stopped me, said something to her friend Matthew, and then explained to me "Sorry to interrupt, but I had to translate 'Dadspeak' into 'Matthewspeak'.<br /><br />Despite these obvious failings she is all in all a pretty good kid, for a girl, at least!

Nothing, absolutely nothing.<br />I can't even give my time and labor away.<br />Tried to volunteer to go down to New Orleans to help in the relief effort.<br />Was rejected by my former church, ? ! ?.<br />This was the church I belonged to for over 30 years.<br /><br />They told me I would have to PAY them in order for me to help them. ? ! ?<br /><br />Oh, but they accepted my lazy sister.<br />She just came back from a week in New Orleans.

Good at troubleshooting electronic crap.<br />Good at dodging werk.<br />Good at keeping a cool head under pressure.<br />And that is about all i am good at..Everything else, i try with no garauntees.

Use to say I could fix any thing but a broken heart or the crack of Dawn. (Offered to work on Dawn's problem once or twice but got shot down) <br /><br />Latest claim to fame: I have an amazing grasp of the obvious. Any way it works for me. Seems lately though,the older I get the less I’m good at, except getting older that is.
