What a week ... AAUURRGGGGHHHH!

Sorry, just have to vent a little ... what a crazy week (s) ... neighbor hung himself last Thursday, then a close friend of parhoner was shot and killed by son in an apparent cold blooded murder, then a different parishoner Friend/parishoner passed away Sunday afternoon. Jury Duty on Monday ... called for 2 cases, one tried yesterday (Wednesday) the other Friday. Tuesday spend the day with an ex-NFLer discussing some possible joint ventures. Wednesday, Send off ex-NFLer (I told him Hello from Angus ... he sends a hello right back at you). Then Jury duty, viewing of friend, evening meeting, on my way to meeting from funeral home get call that my 93 year old grandmother is being rushed to the hospital (she lives 1 1/2 hours away). Pick up Mom and head to see who knows what. Grandma ended up being released from hospital, got home at 2 am this morning. Funeral in a few hours. Another meeting this evening, jury duty again on Friday, working on Saturday, services on Sunday.

But I have to be ready for a government audit of the Fire Department Relief Association treasury on Tuesday! I haven't even started pulling things and doing the physical inventory yet! I am ready to head to Florida!

I am ready to hit the woods without a phone! HA! It will all be okay, just feeling a little overwhelmed right now. Let me get through today and all will be well.

Misery loves company, so here I go...

I work about an hour from my house.... Monday night, leave work and had a fairboard meeting 20 minutes down the road (I volunteer at my hometown fairgrounds). Tuesday night, I had a meeting for a local ATV/motorcycle club that I'm the VP of, which is in some serious financial trouble. Last night, worked on the boat (its about 35 minutes away from home) till late. Tonight I have to load my enclosed trailer (its stored 20 minutes from home), fix whatever is wrong with my rear brake on my YZ and go try on a bunch of clothes for a wedding this weekend. Tomorrow I'm taking a vacation day, but I have to be at an off-road park at 8 a.m. to layout a trail loop for Saturday (I'm a trail guide Saturday morning). Saturday we are having a Toys for Tots event that my ATV/motorcycle group helps run, we do guided rides, etc. I have to leave the T4T's event at noon, rush home, shower and be in another town that's an hour away for this wedding. Sunday I hope to take the boat out for awhile, but I still need to install an actuator (for the hatch) and fix the stupid wiring that goes to it. And I still need to go shopping and buy a few toys to donate this weekend. And I've work +40 hours since Monday.

I thought life would slow down a little bit as I got older... but I'm 31 and it seems like I'm being pulled in a million directions all at once and there is no way out. Thank heavens that I don't have kids or animals that need attention, its hard enough to find time to sit down and have dinner with my wife.

Thanks guys ... just a bit tired and stressed this AM. Funeral went well (as well as a funeral can go ...) and the meal afterwards was a nice time for family and friends. Just left. Gotta get some office work done and then get ready for tonight. Remembered I was to take a friend to his DR appointment tomorrow (3 hours away) ... can't do that because of jury duty, so I called another friend to fill in for me and take Lee to the Dr.

Gonna be light at the end of the tunnel. Grandma has NO recollection of last night or that we were there. A bit tired today, but up and doing well. So who knows what that was all about????
