I have a 1999 Reinell 200 that I am thinking about selling, and I want to figure out a reasonable list price.

5.7 Volvo Penta GS with around 400 hours.

Tandem trailer.

Custom travel cover and bow, Bimini, and cockpit snap covers.

Boat is in terrific shape inside and out.

Thanks!

There are lots of eager buyers.------You only need 1 customer.

Why so little hours? Normally that means the boat sat for many seasons. Over 23 years, the hours should be closer to 1000

10 years ago, boat would have been worth $10-12k

2 years ago, boat would have been worth $10-12k (values were creeping up)

This year, probably $15-$18k (because the world went insane)

In a year, probably worth $5-6k (as sanity resumes)

This is assuming a perfectly clean boat, all maintenance done, and probably new vinyl. Deduct from there

I would sell it now & get top dollar in the craziness of the boat market we're in now. I have a feeling that in a year or 2 the insanity will end once first time boat buyers face the reality of owning a boat. Once the cost of things like fuel prices, dockage, insurance, cost of repairs, towing hassles, etc. hits home the market will be flooded. You know, the people who think a boat is like a car until they realize, oops, no brakes!
