webber carb question

i have a 4.3lx mercruiser with a weber carb when rebuilding the carb i noticed it didn't have a fast idle screw in it is it spouted to or are the not needed on boats. i cant seem to find anything on a fast idle screw in the factory service manual

No fast idle screw or solinoid. Just idle speed adjustment. Use the warmer switch on throttle control to rev engine in neutral, during cold start.

Ayuh,...

On a Boat,... The Captain controls the idle,..... Directly....

Pull back the handle,+ the carb Closes......
