We have had quite a bit of water down here in Queensland lately.
The outback went under and the Simpson desert is covered.
Birdsville got flooded too, and it don't rain there much.

The water is now progressing south flooding towns as it goes.

Now to top it all off, there is a Cat 5 cyclone (290+kph winds) heading in from the Coral Sea. If it crosses the land, it will be well north of here, but if it drops 1-2m of rain inland Nth central Queensland (outback) it is going to be interesting.

Not good. Will keep our fingers crossed that Cyclone misses you. Our rivers here will crest by Wensday it wont effect me I live on a hill.

Phil,

You need to send some of that water west.... We're had the driest summer on record. It spat a few drops yesterday and I didn't recognise the noise on the roof. :eek:...
