We have had quite a bit of water down here in Queensland lately.
The outback went under and the Simpson desert is covered.
Birdsville got flooded too, and it don't rain there much.
The water is now progressing south flooding towns as it goes.

Now to top it all off, there is a Cat 5 cyclone (290+kph winds) heading in from the Coral Sea. If it crosses the land, it will be well north of here, but if it drops 1-2m of rain inland Nth central Queensland (outback) it is going to be interesting.
