2012 Chaparrel Been trying to refill a cleaned and drained 40 gallon water tank. Filling it slowly, it only takes a couple of gallons to geyser up. How do I best "burp" they water system, when filling it slowly doesn't work at all. Is there another reason?
Thanks much for any direction,
Jeffrey

Greetings . . .

Burping tanks are usually an issue with the vent. So, the vent line from the tank may be clogged, or perhaps the fill line is pinched.

Dirt dobbers are notorious for building nest in the opening, check the vents as suggested. The screens in the vent, to prevent insects from entering, will crust over with corrosion sometimes.

My 2014 31 Signature has the inline vent in the water fill. I really dislike this system. When filling I force a 1/2 inch, 10 foot hose into the fill. When I find that the system requires a burb, I usee the same hose and and compressed air into the tank/
