Water pump impeller

Anyone know a helpful trick to get the impeller into the insert cartridge ?

Always used the old fashion way but what about an appropiate size screw clamp?

During my nightmare of a change, it was suggested that I turn the shaft as I seat the impella. This works but a second set of hands would have been helpful.

A dab of marine grease on the impellar blades and insert cartridge will help it go together easily. Make sure blades or turned the right direction, considering a clockwise driveshaft rotation.
