water pump copper tube.

Hello guys, I have a question about a mercury 150 xr4. Question, the copper tube for the water pump that goes up to the motor is it loose and wiggles? I can't find much of anything about that copper pipe.

should be a tapered rubber gromet at tha top (in tha adapter) and one at bottom in tha top of water pump.. yeah, it can wiggle around with gearcase removed.. it compresses when tha gearcase is installed................
