water leaking out from bottom spark plug

I have a 70hp mariner 81 model, when i ran it i noticed water leaking out from the bottom spark plug, i took out the spark and it was clean, the other top 2 were smokey coloured.

what does this mean.

when you say it was leaking out the bottom spark plug its a little confusing. Around the plug, under the plug, out of the head gasket? can you post a pic?

around where you put in the spark plug, so around the thread

That is very common. Most put some silicone caulk around the spark plug base to stop the leak. The other fix is to remove the water jacket cover and replace the gasket. This gets tricky, since the bolts often break....

If the engine was down on power ,STOP using it now. Perform a compression check on that cylinder vs the other 2 cylinders,if within 10-15 psi of each other it maybe ok. Water inside a cylinder steam cleans a piston top and plug,if was was inside the cylinder you have a exhaust plate or gasket failed or bottom seal on crankshaft...

compression are all around 120psi on each cylinder.

i spoke to my mechanic and he said the same it is a common thing just sikaflex it up or change gasket.
