Re: water in fuel question
first off, don't hose your engine with the plugs out. if you did and you got water in the plugholes, turn the motor over a bit to blow the water out before you put the plugs back in. water is not compressable and you will kill your engine trying to run it filled with water. With reguards to water in your fuel, carbs do not have a water sepperator built into them and they do not strain out water. if water is in your fuel, it will go thru your carbs. Replace the fuel/water sepperator and run your motor ensuring you have good, fresh, water-free gas. If you are still getting water in the motor I'd be concerned about a crack in your engine's cooling jacket.
